The short version
You can cancel your Premium subscription at any time. Cancellations take effect at the end of your current billing period — you keep full access until then. Refunds are considered on a case-by-case basis and are generally offered for genuine billing errors or exceptional circumstances.
1. Subscription Overview
Bike Service Book™ Premium is a monthly recurring subscription billed in advance. Your subscription begins on the date you complete payment and renews automatically on the same date each month unless cancelled. Payment is processed securely by Paystack.
2. How to Cancel
You may cancel your subscription at any time by contacting us at ben@thrilltech.co.za. Please include the email address associated with your account in your cancellation request.
We aim to process all cancellation requests within 1 business day and will confirm by email once your cancellation has been applied.
What happens when you cancel:
- ✓Your Premium access continues until the end of your current billing period
- ✓No further charges will be made after cancellation
- ✓Your service history data is retained — you can still access it on the free plan
- ✗Premium features (unlimited bikes, notifications, Book a Service) will be restricted at period end
3. Refund Policy
All subscription payments are non-refundable as a general rule, as we provide immediate access to Premium features upon payment. However, we will consider refund requests in the following circumstances:
Situations where a refund may be granted:
- •You were charged in error (e.g., duplicate charge)
- •You were charged after a confirmed cancellation request
- •A technical fault prevented you from accessing Premium features for a significant portion of your billing period
- •You contact us within 48 hours of your first-ever subscription payment and have not used any Premium features
Situations where a refund will not be granted:
- •You forgot to cancel before the renewal date
- •You no longer wish to use the Service after the billing period has commenced
- •Your account was suspended due to a violation of our Terms of Service
4. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, email us at ben@thrilltech.co.za with the subject line "Refund Request" and include:
- The email address on your account
- The date and amount of the charge
- The reason for your refund request
We will respond within 3 business days. Approved refunds are processed back to your original payment method and typically appear within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank.
5. Free Plan
The free tier of Bike Service Book™ is available at no cost and requires no payment details. There is nothing to cancel or refund for free plan users.
6. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Refund and Cancellation Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. For material changes, we will notify active subscribers by email.
