How do I add Bike Service Book to my Home Screen?

Bike Service Book is a Progressive Web App (PWA) — it works like a native app when added to your Home Screen. You get faster access, a full-screen experience, and notifications work best this way. Follow the steps for your device below.

How do I connect my Strava account?

Note: Your Bike Service Book registration email must be the same as the one you used on your Strava account. Go to Settings and click "Connect with Strava". You will be redirected to Strava to authorize the connection. Once authorized, you will be able to sync your ride activities.

How does activity syncing work?

After connecting Strava, go to Settings and click Sync Activities. Select your recent rides and assign them to the appropriate bike. The ride hours will automatically update your component usage.

What data does the app access from Strava?

We only access your ride activities (Ride and VirtualRide types) including activity name, date, distance, and duration. We do not access any other personal information.

How do I disconnect my Strava account?

Go to Settings and click Disconnect in the Strava Integration section. You can also revoke access directly from your Strava app settings.

What are the component status colors?

Green: Within service interval (0-79% of hours)
Amber: Service recommended (80-99% of hours)
Red: Service overdue (100%+ of hours)

Can I track multiple bikes?

Yes! You can add unlimited bikes and assign different components to each one. When syncing Strava activities, you choose which bike was used for each ride.

How do I export my service history?

Go to any bike's Service History page and click "Download Service Report (PDF)". This generates a professional PDF with all your maintenance records, component status, and service photos.

Can I add service photos?

Yes! When logging service, you can upload up to 5 photos per service event. These photos are included in the service history and PDF reports.
